Descrição

About this project We are looking for sightings of whales and marine debris in the Gulf of Maine, to expand our knowledge about species distribution and human impacts. https://www.blueoceansociety.org/ Project goal Study the distribution of whales in the Gulf of Maine and learn about human impacts. What participants do: Report sightings and photos of whales and marine debris in the Gulf of Maine Since the late 1990s, Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation has been studying whales and other marine life in the Gulf of Maine. We are looking for your help to provide more eyes on the water, so that we can better track the distribution and behavior of whales over time. We are also looking for information on litter spotted at sea so that we can work to prevent future pollution. Thank you for your help!
