  <abstract>
    <para>Gabon Biodiversity Collection is the largest zoological reference collection known in Central Africa. It consist of 123000 specimen including Mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians, plants and mainly arthropods. The collection of amphibian actually has over 500 specimen. Amphibian are under studied and our hope is to foster more research in the region by making available what is already available as information.</para>
