      <abstract>
        <para>The Invertebrate Paleontology Department at the American Museum of Natural History houses a large collection of Late Cretaceous Mollusca most of which are Cephalopoda from the Western Interior Seaway (WIS) in the United States Northern Great Plains. As part of an NSF TCN grant, this dataset is the result of a digitization effort that captured data of 12,127 specimen/lots and georeferenced 671 AMNH localities using several programs, chiefly GEOlocate, Google Earth and Google Maps while following the MaNIS/HerpNet/ORNIS georeferencing guideline.</para>
